John Poremba passed from life to Life this past Friday, in the early afternoon. He was sedated so he would not suffer. He fought the good fight. We obeyed the Lord. We prayed until John was raised either to life here with us, or LIFE in Heaven with our Precious Lord and Saviour, Jesus, the Eternal Son of God.
We will miss him, and we will rejoice with him.
There will be a memorial service on Sunday (Aug 23) at 3:00 pm in our sanctuary. His body was cremated. Such a beautiful man of God.
John was a dear brother and a faithful soldier of Jesus. John loved to worship as much as anyone I’ve known. I think the happiest I ever saw him was when he was worshipping, pouring out his heart to the Lord. Now, he’s joined the never-ending chorus. Yes, Lord, we will ride with You!
