Prayer for Richard’s Mom
May 6, 2008 by ncivy
Thanks to everyone for praying for Richard’s mom last Sunday! The mass was 1.8 cm (had it been less than 1 cm, they would not have paid any attention to it), and the doctor had some trouble finding it at first. Then she had trouble getting enough fluid to test. Mom will get her results on May 14th, so we’ll know more then. To me, it sounded like the mass was not as big as the scoping showed - I don’t know that this is so. Anyway, I laid a hand over the area in her neck and prayed again for her complete healing, the the tissue would shrink away totally and the doctors would not be able to find it! I felt the Lord’s power, so I am trusting that He is doing something more! Please keep praying.

Thanks, Nancy. I feel like this is precisely what our Vineyard is about. In a big church, there is no opportunity to share needs the way Richard did on Sunday. There is a partaking in each other’s lives that is good and healthy. And thanks for the update. Saying a prayer right now!
Steve,
I agree. In our church, Richard’s mom is part of our family… just like Joel’s brother, or your mom before she moved here.
And, Nancy… we will continue praying for Aggie until she is totally healed!
Please pray now in particular. Mom was to see the dr on the 14th, but received a call today to go in tomorrow. Please pray for peace and for a GOOD REPORT. We will receive the report of the LORD!
Thanks - Nancy
Just to let you know, Mom got biopsy results today and they show cancer. Next step is a PET scan to find out just what kind of cancer and the appropriate treatment. Thanks for continuing your prayers.
